We are a local family run business in Fife, Scotland.

Mother & daughter team Yvonne & Debbie have been working together for over 25 years now, running our 3 stores in Dunfermline, Cowdenbeath & Glenrothes and now our new webstore too, with our team of 16 dedicated staff members.

Meet Yvonne... Owner, Founder, Director and CEO of Balloons at Hallmark Ltd (the person who writes the cheques and never stops working!)


You’ll normally find her in our Cowdenbeath store doing what she loves best, making up beautiful balloon arrangements. She has a vast knowledge in the balloon industry, definitely the most experienced and has passed her experience on to others. She’ll be chatting to customers and overseeing the running of the business most likely with a black coffee in hand!

Meet Debbie... Yvonne’s daughter and mini me! Manager, Director, Head Balloon Decorator & Training Officer. Yvonne has passed on her knowledge, and like her mum Debbie’s knowledge in the balloon industry is phenomenal.
You'll usually find her in our newest store in Glenrothes, where she is busy building the business. And its certainly going from strength to strength. From there she helps her mum oversee the running of the business. Regularly Debbie can be seen in our Dunfermline shop doing what she does best… creating beautiful balloon displays!
She also likes black coffee!

Meet Hayley... Our Senior Balloon Decorator, our website & social media manager who oversees the day to day running of the Dunfermline store. She’s been with us since 2013!

You will usually find her in our Dunfermline store, down the back at the balloon station creating the most amazing balloon displays & also handling customer orders in the front of the shop with a smile on her face, greeting the customers!
Yvonne & Debbie know that their shop is in capable hands with Hayley around!

Meet Sandra... Our Head of Card & Gift section, longest serving team member who oversees the day to day running of our Dunfermline store alongside Hayley. Sandra is the lady who speaks to our reps & handpicks every card we have. She’s been with us since 2009!

You’ll usually find her at the front of the store, ready to meet & greet you! She hand personalises all the glitter balloons in Dunfermline!

Meet Ashley... She’s the head of our online Customer Services assisting with customer questions/ queries and creating our social media posts, alongside Hayley and brought us up to date with the times and started our own Tik Tok.

She’s been with us since 2020 & you’ll usually find her being a busy bee in our Dunfermline store, & on occasions when needed in our other shops! She’s our bubbly, fun character who’ll always leave a smile on your face!

Meet Laura

Laura started many moons ago as a Saturday girl when Dunfermline was based in Netherton Broad Street alongside Debbie. She couldn’t keep away & came back in 2020 & she’s now based in our Cowdenbeath store. It’s like she’s never been away. She deals with gift merchandise, making sure the gifts are tip top. Always ready to greet our customers & will go out her way to help! A fun bubbly lady & the customers love her!

Meet Ann

Who started with us in 2021!

She started right in the middle of our busiest period and she wasn’t put off! You’ll usually find her in our Dunfermline shop at the front, serving & dealing with telephone enquiries & making sure we’re well stocked up on our products & everything is all nice & tidy!

Ann is a bright cheery lady & is always ready to greet our customers!

Meet Edna

Who started with us in 2020!

You’ll find her being busy in our Cowdenbeath store, making sure the greeting cards are topped up, sorting out stock, making sure paperwork is in check and always looking after our customers! She’s been to the glenrothes store & loved it! Edna is a funny, kind lady!

Meet Rheann

Who started with us in 2022! With a fantastic background in retail she’s another asset in our team!
You’ll usually find her in our Dunfermline shop where she keeps busy serving all our lovely customers, taking orders and is beginning her balloon journey!

Meet Elaine

Who has been with since 2022! She’s a much valued member of our team and although is based primarily in our Glenrothes store, travels between the 3 shops. With an eye for detail, she can usually be found making our shop displays look beautiful….when she isn’t buying half the shop!!
